Docksters is now Collactr!

We have exciting news to share: Docksters has rebranded as Collactr! This new name reflects our forward-looking vision and aligns perfectly with our evolving mission. In this post we will explain why we made this change and what it means for you.

New Name & Focus

The name "Collactr" highlights our expertise in collecting, processing, monitoring, and visualizing data. While we’re sharpening our focus in these areas, we remain active in the IoT space, committed to helping our customers act on the insights we create that help them make data-driven decisions.

A Fresh New Logo

We’ve also introduced a sleek new logo, designed to better represent the look and feel of our software. It’s modern, clean, and perfectly aligned with our design philosophy.

What Does This Mean For You?

The primary change is our new name and logo, which better reflect our mission and expertise. Beyond these changes, there are a few updates you should be aware of:

Domain Changes

To reflect the rebrand, we’re transitioning to new domains. Please update your bookmarks accordingly:

• docksters.io → collactr.com
• app.docksters.io → collactr.app
• documentation.docksters.io → docs.collactr.com

Endpoint Changes

We’re also updating our gateway and API endpoints to align with the Collactr brand. The following changes will take place:

• data.docksters.io → data.collactr.com
• api.docksters.io → api.collactr.com

We advice our partners to migrate all existing configurations over to the new Collactr domains. The current endpoints will continue to work until the 31rst of December 2025.

Email Changes

Our email addresses have been updated to match the new domain. Please note the following changes:

• support@docksters.io → support@collactr.com
• info@docksters.io → info@collactr.com
• sales@docksters.io → sales@collactr.com

Custom Rebrands

All basic rebranded domains will be migrated to the .collactr.app domain. For example, company.docksters.io will move to company.collactr.app. Full rebrands are not affected by this change.

Our service and support will continue as usual, maintaining the same standards you’ve come to expect from us. With these changes, we’re embracing a fresh identity while staying fully committed to bringing you the best solutions.

Seamless Transition

As part of our rebranding to Collactr, we’re rolling out several backend changes. All existing services will remain operational without any interruptions. The changes are largely structural, ensuring that the shift to Collactr brings better efficiency while maintaining full backward compatibility.

Deprecation Notice

Our old endpoints will continue to function as normal, with automatic redirection from the old Docksters domains and APIs. Our current domains and endpoints will remain active until 31-12-2025.

If you experience any issues during the transition, our team is ready to assist you. We’re committed to ensuring a smooth transition and to make sure our customers don't experience any hindrance as we make these updates.
